The Saudi Export Development Authority "Saudi Exports" will be participating at the third annual forum and exhibition of the In-Kingdom Total Value Add Program "IKTVA", organized by Saudi Aramco under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud Bin Nayef, Prince of the Eastern Region, from 12 to 14 December at Dhahran International Exhibitions Company "Dhahran Expo". The forum includes a wide range of discussion sessions, presentations, workshops and seminars by experts and specialists from multiple organizations.

The Secretary-General of "Saudi Exports", Eng. Saleh Al-Solami said that the participation of "Saudi Exports" in IKTVA stems from its interest to reach out to exporters, spread the export culture and encourage Saudi products to access international markets by introducing the initiatives and services of "Saudi Exports", especially with the international standards shown by Saudi products being exported to many countries around the world. "Saudi Exports" always seeks to discover market opportunities for Saudi products and facilitate export procedures in cooperation with the relevant authorities.

He added that IKTVA forum and exhibition serves as an ideal platform for raising the export knowledge of Saudi enterprises and urging them to develop their capacities and raise their export readiness according to the best international practices in order to achieve the goals of the National Transformation Program 2020 and translate the Saudi Vision 2030. Al-Solami stressed that IKTVA forum and exhibition comes within the government's efforts to promote the process of economic diversification towards reaching industrial self-sufficiency, and energy self-sufficiency in particular.

The forum represents a platform for manufacturers and service providers related to the energy sector to drive the national economy, localize industries and labor and enhance the total added value. The forum this year also comes to highlight small and medium enterprises from across the Kingdom and abroad along with their role in economic diversification and the efforts exerted to support and develop such enterprises.

It is worth mentioning that "Saudi Exports" employs all its capabilities to improve the efficiency of the export environment; build export capacities; promote exporters and their products; create export opportunities; develop programs for exporters; encourage them; promote Saudi products in international markets and increase their competitive quality in order to help them access these markets in a way that reflects the position and quality of the Saudi product and serve as a tributary to the national economy. The work of "Saudi Exports" comes as a translation of the Saudi Vision 2030 and a response to the aspirations of the wise leadership towards diversifying the sources of income of the national economy.
