The "SAUDI EXPORTS" reported that the "Big 5" exhibition is an opportunity to show the Saudi products of building and construction materials, which have the economic merits that make them competitive to their counterparts in Europe and Asia; this is due to the low cost of shipping compared to the products from geographically distant places.

On his part, the Secretary General of the "SAUDI EXPORTS" Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al-Hakbani disclosed that the goal of participating in important exhibitions such as this exhibition is to enhance the Kingdom's exports of building materials and construction to all Gulf State and international markets. He stressed that the GCC construction sector, through a wide range of GCC real estate projects, is a strategic market for Saudi building materials and construction.

According to Al-Hakbani, the Gulf construction sector is currently witnessing an extraordinary booming cycle. This makes it a natural target for Saudi exports that enjoy a competitive edge with its products compared to other products in the same sector.

The "Big 5" exhibition attracts professionals and specialists working in the construction sector in the region. It allows them to get new products, explore the latest innovations and participate in workshops, conferences and educational workshops.

Al-Hakbani added: "the SAUDI EXPORTS  will work during the exhibition to promote interaction between the Saudi companies and the construction and building companies to shed light on the value of the Saudi products and superiority over other products in terms of quality, price and fulfillment of the requirements of the construction sector in the region, with suitable speed and flexibility."

Al-Hakbani pointed out that the construction sector in the Gulf region will continue expanding large real estate projects in the region. This provides an important opportunity for the Saudi companies working in this sector to look at the real estate sector in the region as the primary market.

The Saudi participation in the exhibition comes at a time when the construction sector and related industries in the Kingdom are witnessing high growth rates. The "SAUDI EXPORTS" is working on enhancing its participation in the international exhibitions to open export channels for the Saudi construction sector to most countries of the world.
