calendar 2/13/2016 12:00 PM

The Saudi Pavilion has ended its participation in the "Project Egypt" exhibition today, Sunday. The participation came within the international specialized exhibition service organized by the Saudi Exports Development Authority "SAUDI EXPORTS", between 11-14 Feb. and held in Cairo, the Arabic Republic of Egypt. The Saudi pavilion included more than 28 companies representing various sectors mainly the construction materials, equipment and technologies. The participation organized, by the "SAUDI EXPORTS", aimed to opening potential export markets for the national corporations and finding a suitable platform to communicate with present customers. This is also to encourage national products to reach potential clients, which contributes to the development of the competitive capabilities of these firms across platforms to simulate target markets through the promotion of those products across international platforms like "Project Egypt".

"Project Egypt" exhibition is the first international trade fair in Egypt for construction materials, equipment and techniques. It is dedicated to serving the needs of the growing construction markets in North Africa. The exhibition invests in the strategic location in Egypt as an important point of entry to the African markets. It brings together major manufacturers and producers from around the world. Its other significance comes from quality visitors who cover all areas of the industry including the financers, investors, consultants, specialists, real estate developers, entrepreneurs, traders, distributors of construction materials, purchase managers, engineers, contractors, construction and interior design engineers and project managers. This provides a direct channel for technology transfer and exchange of experiences with the leaders and decision-makers in the local markets in those countries. It also helps to display products and services to different categories of buyers from North Africa in an attempt to have a share in the ongoing and future projects that is worth $104 billion.

The Authority hopes that its efforts and activities will be an added value to the Saudi manufacturers in a way that will positively impact the national economy in general and growth of national companies in particular through stimulating these companies and enabling them to develop their business in international markets and making use of the available opportunities. It intends to do so through training workshops offered throughout the whole year, or through participation in specialized international fairs organized by the "SAUDI EXPORTS" in many sectors, in addition to bilateral meetings and forums.
