Through the "SAUDI EXPORTS" Pavilion at ADIPEC

The Saudi Pavilion is expected to draw the highest number of visitors at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), held in UAE from 9-12 December. The Saudi Stand, which is run by the Saudi Exports Development Authority, "SAUDI EXPORTS" comprises 17 competent national companies in petroleum industry and related sectors of energy. Such companies derive their power from accumulated expertise that dates back to more than 75 years in a country whose land is rich of natural gas and oil.

According to figures released by the General Authority for Statistics, oil exports have been rising during 2009 - 2014, from 635 billion riyals to 1094 billion riyals. Oil exports represent approximately 40% of the GDP. In the same context, the Kingdom's oil production has increased over the same period from nearly eight million barrels per day to 10 million barrels per day, which was aligned with the rise in oil prices at the same time from $ 54 per barrel in 2009 to $ 86 per barrel at the end of 2014. This was followed by a wave of consecutive declines in oil prices worldwide. Recently, oil prices recorded a relatively stable price that ranged between $ 40 to 45 dollars per barrel, according to the latest average prices in November, 2015.

It is expected that the exhibition will attract approximately more than 85000 specialists in energy, oil and petroleum services. "SAUDI EXPORTS" has organized the national Pavilion as part of its continuous hard work to contribute to opening new competitive marketing outlets for local exporters in the service and production sectors.

The Authority hopes that its efforts and activities will be an added value to the Saudi manufacturers in a way that will positively impact the national economy in general and growth of national companies in particular through stimulating these companies and enabling them to develop their business in international markets and making use of the available opportunities. It intends to do so through training workshops offered throughout the whole year, or through participation in specialized international fairs organized by the "SAUDI EXPORTS" in many sectors, in addition to bilateral meetings and forums.
